Husmann Technologies Participates in Naval Postgraduate School JIFX 25-4, Advancing AI-Enabled Decision Support Experimentation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MONTEREY, Calif. — August 2025— Husmann Technologies, LLC announced today its participation in the Naval Postgraduate School’s (NPS) Joint Interagency Field Experimentation (JIFX) 25-4, held 11–15 August 2025, where the company collaborated with government, academic, and industry partners to evaluate emerging technologies in operationally relevant conditions.
Hosted by the Naval Postgraduate School, JIFX 25-4 brought together more than 250 participants, including uniformed military officers, government stakeholders, technologists, students, and faculty, to explore and assess innovative capabilities across domains such as artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, autonomy, resilience, and human-machine integration
At JIFX 25-4, Husmann Technologies participated, presenting its experiment “Nexus Flow– Intelligent Machine Agents to Enable Better Decisions.” The experiment focused on evaluating how AI-enabled agents can assist decision-makers by synthesizing complex data, reducing cognitive burden, and supporting faster, more informed judgment in dynamic operational environments
The JIFX environment enabled Husmann Technologies to engage directly with operators, students, faculty, and fellow technologists, allowing for rapid feedback, informal integration with complementary systems, and collaborative exploration of concepts of employment. These interactions are central to JIFX’s role as a living laboratory for advancing applied, defense-relevant research and experimentation.
JIFX 25-4 also highlighted the Naval Postgraduate School’s distinctive role as both an innovation hub and an educational institution. More than 90 NPS students and 25 faculty members actively participated as experimenters, evaluators, and observers, reinforcing the event’s mission to blend education with hands-on experimentation in support of Department of Defense force capability development
“Husmann Technologies values JIFX as a venue where ideas are tested against reality,” said Darrin Husmann, Founder of Husmann Technologies. “The opportunity to collaborate with operators, students, and fellow innovators in an open experimentation environment helps us refine our approach and better understand how AI-enabled decision support can be responsibly integrated into complex systems.”
Participation in JIFX 25-4 aligns with Husmann Technologies’ broader focus on developing advanced AI-enabled platforms that support operational awareness, decision support, and system-level insight across defense and industrial domains. Insights gained from the event will inform continued research, development, and future experimentation efforts.
