
Andrew A. Wildrix is a senior technology executive and retired U.S. Army officer with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning cybersecurity, large-scale IT operations, defense, and advanced communications infrastructure. He brings a rare combination of mission-driven military leadership, enterprise technology execution, and public-company executive management to organizations operating in high-risk, high-consequence environments.
Mr. Wildrix currently serves as Chief Information Officer of Intrusion, Inc., a publicly traded cybersecurity company, where he provides senior leadership across enterprise IT, product engineering, security, compliance, and global operations. In this role, he has overseen company-wide technology modernization efforts, directed R&D teams responsible for multiple new product launches, under his leadership, Intrusion successfully reduced operating burn while expanding product offerings and strengthening security posture.
Prior to Intrusion, Mr. Wildrix was Director of IT at Integrity First Maintenance, Earlier in his career, he held senior engineering and network leadership roles at AT&T Labs, AT&T Advanced Technical Services, SBC Internet Services, where he served as a subject matter expert for carrier-grade Ethernet, network planning, cloud infrastructure, and next-generation communications technologies.
Mr. Wildrix retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service, achieving the rank of Major (Promotable). His military career included command and staff roles in armor units, logistics, operations, information operations, and modeling and simulation. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he managed logistics and accountability for hundreds of soldiers and hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment, led infrastructure and information operations planning, advised on biometrics deployment, and coordinated with U.S. and international partners to support reconstruction and economic stabilization efforts. He holds multiple military decorations, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and maintains active TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
Mr. Wildrix holds a Bachelor of Science from Excelsior College and an Associate of Arts from Marion Military Institute. He has been recognized as North Texas Tech Titans CIO of the Year and is known for building resilient teams, reducing operational risk, and translating complex technical challenges into actionable executive decisions.
